NSCAD University 2012 Graduation Exhibition
 
During my final year of studies at NSCAD, I completed an internship with the Anna Leonowens Gallery. As a curatorial intern I assisted with the day to day operations of the gallery, exhibition installations, and regular programming. Working together with Alejandra Vera, I had the opportunity to co-curate NSCAD's annual Graduation Exhibition. Throughout the process we had guidance from Gallery Director Eleanor King and Exhibitions Coordinator Melanie Colosimo. We also worked alongside design intern Siobhan Gallagher who produced the exhibition catalogue for the show. The exhibition consisted of over 100 artworks from undergraduate and graduate students displayed across both the Anna Leonowens Gallery and NSCAD's Port Loggia Gallery. I was involved in coordinating the submissions process, planning the exhibition, handling and installing artwork, communicating with artists, obtaining local sponsorship, and speaking to the public.
